Dunkirk Man Killed in Motorcycle Accident Thursday Night

A Dunkirk man was killed in a motorcycle accident that occurred around 9 Thursday night in Cessna Township. According to a release from the Hardin County Sheriff's Office, Joseph Bayliff was traveling east on County Road 90 when the motorcycle left the north side of the road. It traveled across a drainage ditch and entered onto State Route 309. Bayliff was ejected from the motorcycle and was pronounced dead at the scene. The crash remains under investigation. France Lake Memorial Bass Tournament Rescheduled for July 6

The France Lake Memorial Bass Tournament has been rescheduled for Sunday, July 6 from 7am to 1pm. It was scheduled for June 8 but was cancelled due to the forecast of severe thunderstorms that day. The cost is $11 per person. They are only accepting the first 20 boats. Pre-registration is Saturday night from 6:00pm to 7:00pm. Kenton City Council Votes to Change Refuse and Recycling Service Provider in Effort to Save Money for Residents

Kenton City Council voted Monday evening to transition solid waste and recycling services providers for the city.
