Prescription Medication Stolen from Kenton Woman’s Residence

The theft of prescription medication was reported to Kenton police on Monday.   According to the report, an officer was dispatched to the 900 block of Meadow Lane in reference to the theft.   A 47 year old Kenton woman was listed as the suspect, but she has not yet been charged.   The incident is under investigation.

Money and a Check Stolen from a Vehicle

A theft from a vehicle occurred sometime Sunday night to Monday morning.   According to the report from the Kenton Police Department, a resident in the 300 block of Kuert Avenue said that his vehicle was ransacked and someone stole $100 in cash and a check for $210 while it was parked at his residence.   No suspects were listed on the report.

Board of Elections Office to be Closed June 18-19

The Hardin County Board of Elections will be closed for a couple of days next week.   According to a release, the office will not be open Tuesday, June 18 and Wednesday, June 19.   The closing is to allow the Board members, Staff, Director and Deputy Director to attend the Ohio Secretary of State’s Conference in Columbus.

Latta: Congress Doesn’t Deserve a Raise

OSP Releases Results of 6-State Seat Belt Enforcement Project

COLUMBUS – The Ohio State Highway Patrol joined forces with other members of the 6-State Trooper Project to focus on safety belt enforcement. During the project, 6,358 people were cited with safety belt related offenses. Throughout the six states, 12,972 safety belt citations were issued. Shawnee Township Police Looking for Missing Woman

The Shawnee Township Police Department in Allen County took a report of a missing 77 year old female with the possibility of onset dementia this past Sunday evening. Janet I. Taflinger is described as a white female 5’03” 110 lbs., brown hair, and green eyes. She was last seen at her residence of 2299 West Hume Road around 4:00 PM Sunday afternoon. HMH Holding Diabetes Support Group Meeting
