Sycamore Man Injured in Crash Wednesday Morning

A Sycamore man was injured in a one vehicle crash that occurred Wednesday morning in Wyandot County.   According to the Wyandot County Sheriff's Office, 61 year old Dennis Lyons lost control of his vehicle while driving east on State Highway 103.   The vehicle, which was heavily damaged, ended up off the right side of the road where it went into the ditch and struck a telephone pole.   Lyons was transported to a hospital in Bucyrus for treatment […]

Vehicle Damaged by Fire in Wyandot County

Fire damaged a vehicle on U.S. 23 in Wyandot County late Wednesday morning.   According to the report from the Wyandot County Sheriff's Office, a deputy arrived on the scene and observed the front end of the vehicle in flames.   The owner, Lori Dishon, of Upper Sandusky, said as she was travelling north on 23, her vehicle started slowing, and as she pulled to the side of the road, she noticed flames coming from the front end.   All […]

A Carey man has been indicted on attempted murder charges following an incident this past Sunday in Hancock County.   37 year old Chad J. Damage Assessment in 10 Counties Begins Today (June 5)

COLUMBUS — Damage assessment teams from the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) and the Small Business Administration (SBA) will join Ohio Emergency Management Agency (Ohio EMA) officials in a joint preliminary damage assessment of areas in 10 counties damaged by last week’s tornadoes. Huntsville Man Injured in Motorcycle Accident

A Huntsville man escaped serious injuries in a motorcycle accident Tuesday night in Logan County.   WPKO Radio reported that 34 year old Robert Dye was riding east on State Route 540 when a semi operated by 46 year old Matthew Carlson, of New York, pulled from the Route 33 exit ramp and turned left onto 540.   In order to avoid hitting the semi, Dye laid the bike down on the roadway.
