Hardin County OSU Extension Master Gardeners Hardin County Master Gardeners recently planted two Oak Trees at the Friendship Gardens. These trees were planted for the America 250 Year Celebration. Officials also gave thanks to those who helped make the event a success. The Master Gardeners will also be having a Summer Garden program to talk about the Oak Trees on June 16th. It will be held at the Friendship Gardens located at 960 West Kohler Street in Kenton.

Riverdale Local Schools announced the resignation of K–12 Assistant Principal Nathan Sorg following last nights BOE meeting, referencing an incident that occurred at the district’s K–12 office on April 14, 2026.
