USV Ambulance District Recognizes Parisot and Heilman for Advanced EMT Achievement

Upper Scioto Valley Ambulance District Firefighter/Advanced Emergency Medical Technician's Daniel Parisot and Heather Heilman obtained their Advanced EMT certification. This certification requires up to an additional 250 hours of training through both classroom instruction and clinical experience. Parisot and Heilman have served the district as part-time providers. Ohio Traffic Safety Office's RoadReady Ohio mobile app is designed to help drivers with learner's permits and their parents or guardians log the required 50 hours of supervised driving time needed before taking the final driver's license test. It also scores each driving session in key areas like braking, acceleration, turning, and speed.
