Hardin Northern Local School District Family, Career and Community Leaders of America students at Hardin Northern are selling carnations. Orders will be taken February 2 through February 9. Carnations are $2, and the color choices are red, pink and white. They will be delivered at the end of the day on Wednesday, February 11. Riverdale Reschedules 5th Grade Musical for February 4 and 5

Riverdale Local Schools Riverdale has announced a new date for the 5th Grade musical, which was postponed due to the weather. Matinee performances will now be held at 2pm Wednesday and Thursday, February 4 and 5. The evening show will start at 7pm Thursday the 5th. Students should arrive in the cafeteria at 6:40 pm for the evening show.

Ada Elementary Students Compete in Annual SOUPER Bowl Challenge

Ada Bulldogs Ada Elementary students are once again teaming with the United Way of Hardin County for the annual SOUPER Bowl Challenge. Students in grades Kindergarten through 5th grade are competing to bring in canned and non-perishable food items. The class that collects the most items will win a pizza party. The food collected will go to local food banks and homeless shelters. Donations are being accepted now through Friday, February 6.

Goodyear to Close Findlay Tall Timbers Mold Facility

WFIN Radio in Findlay has reported that Goodyear will close its Tall Timbers mold facility in that city. The company announced that it will consolidate its two U.S. mold facilities into a single location in Statesville, North Carolina. This move will impact around 85 associates. Goodyear promised that they will be providing comprehensive support during the transition, with the closure of the Findlay facility expected by March 31.
