The Hardin County Sheriff's Office held a formal swearing-in ceremony for their newest team members late last week. Red Cross Plans to Hold Blood Drive Monday Unless There is a Level 3 Snow Emergency

The American Red Cross is holding a blood drive on Monday January 26. It is scheduled to operate from noon until 6pm, at the Moose Family Center in Kenton. This will be cancelled for sure if a Level 3 Snow Emergency is in effect. Lima Woman Suffers Life-Threatening Injuries in Roll Over Crash Near Defiance and Putnam County Line

A Lima woman suffered life-threatening injuries in a one vehicle crash that occurred at just before midnight Thursday night on State Route 15 near the Defiance-Putnam County Line. NWS Updates Snow Amounts in Winter Storm Watch Areas

A Winter Storm Watch is in effect for Hardin and all of our surrounding counties. Snow is forcecast to start Saturday afternoon, but the bulk of the snow will fall Saturday night through Sunday night. For Auglaize, Hardin and Logan Counties, the Wilmington National Weather Service office says we could get a total of 4 to 7 inches. 5 to 9 inches of snow is forecast for Union County by the Wilimington office.
