A Lima woman suffered life-threatening injuries in a one vehicle crash that occurred at just before midnight Thursday night on State Route 15 near the Defiance-Putnam County Line. A Winter Storm Watch is in effect for Hardin and all of our surrounding counties. Snow is forcecast to start Saturday afternoon, but the bulk of the snow will fall Saturday night through Sunday night. Fire Suppression Line Break at Kenton Middle/High School Building; Classes Cancelled for Wednesday

There was a fire suppression line break within the new Kenton Middle/High School building this (Tuesday) morning. Water compromised at least 8 classrooms in that portion of the building. As a result, Kenton Middle/High School will be closed tomorrow, (Wednesday January 21). Kenton Elementary School should report at normal time. Peterson Construction Company and Garmann Miller are still investigating the cause of the incident, and will make an announcement at a later date.

Kenton Law Director Announces City will Begin Foreclosure Process on Rigdon Properties

At Monday evening's Kenton City Council meeting, Law Director John Schwemer gave an update regarding the city's collection's efforts against David Rigdon. Schwemer told council members that he just received judgement against Rigdon to recoup money paid by the city for the demolition of the Rigdon owned Surplus Building, which was in May of this year.
