McGuffey Summer Cleanup Day Scheduled for Tomorrow

Village of McGuffey The Village of McGuffey will host its annual Summer Cleanup Day tomorrow, June 6, from 9 a.m. to noon. Dumpsters will be available on Railroad Street for village residents to dispose of unwanted items during the cleanup event. Village officials noted that hazardous materials will not be accepted. Prohibited items include paint, batteries, concrete and tires. The cleanup day is open to Village of McGuffey residents only.

Portion of SR 235 in Hardin County to Close for Culvert Replacement Next Week

The Ohio Department of Transportation has announced a road closure in Hardin County starting next week. State Route 235 between County Road 110 and Township Road 120 will close Wednesday, June 10, for approximately three days to replace a culvert and catch basin. Motorists should use caution and recommended detours while the work is being completed. Detour: SR 309 to U.S 68 to SR 67, back to SR 235
