Ridgemont Gets Eight NWCC All-Conference Nods

H/T Ridgemont Athletics After a record-setting 2025, the Ridgemont football program had eight athletes receive NWCC honors. Record-breaking running back Mason Howard and defensive back Kody Kiser earned first team NWCC honors, while offensive linemen Kaine Ruppright and Luke Stacklin, who paved the way for Howard, secured spots on the second team along with linebacker Maverick Dawson. The group was rounded out by Jordan Olsen, Bryce Mendenhall, and Jaxon Stuck, who received honorable mentions.

The Riverdale Falcons had five athletes receive BVC honors this season. Riverdale Girls Soccer Ends Season in OT Thriller

The Falcons gave it their all in a tough match against a strong Mansfield Christian team. Riverdale pushed the 2nd-seed Flames into overtime but narrowly fell short with a 3-4 loss. Goals for Riverdale came from Lilly Mowery who netted two and Marissa Bonham. All three Falcons goals were assisted, with Emily O'Flaherty delivering two helpers and Gwen Bucher adding one as well.

The Kenton boys and girls cross country teams are heading to Regionals after both secured 4th place finishes at the Division 3 District meet in Galion.
