Care Package season is here for Blue Star Mothers Chapter 32. This year, due to new customs regulations, the items they send overseas must be very specific items. Greenwood Grange’s Fall Harvest Social Taking Place Next Week

Greenwood Grange is hosting its Fall Harvest Social on Tuesday, October 7. It will be held from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. at the Greenwood Grange Hall, located on Satte Route 53 in Grant. They wil be serving Baked Steak and Shredded Chicken Sandwiches, Beef and Noodles, Homemade salads, and desserts, including Fall favorites of pumpkin and apple. You can dine in or drive thru, and the site is handicap accessible.

Overall 2025 Fair Attendance Up Just Over 1000 from 2024

Attendance figures for the 2025 Hardin County Fair have been released. Attendance was up every day of the fair compared to 2024, except for Saturday and Sunday. 8047 was the actual attendance for Saturday at this year's fair, down from 8164 for Saturday in 2024. The Diamond Rio and Confederate Railroad concert attracted 2109 to the grandstand, down from the 2278 figure for the Rodney Atkins concert in 2024.
